Nostalgia is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation designed to provide developmentally disabled adults with recreational activities. But that sounds pretty tame, really. And we aim not to be tame. In fact, we like to help our clients experience what it is like to be a little wild; to breathe the chill, thin air of a Colorado mountain peak; to feel the icy spray of the Atlantic Ocean on their skin; to smell the fragrance of summer sun warming the needles of an Adirondack pine forest.
While governmental funding provides for the basic needs of our clients, it doesn’t necessarily provide for the rich adventures and experiences we work to create for them. Consequently, we are continually inviting others to join us in supporting opportunities for adventurous living.
